It's like other service stations in that a quick toilet break turned into just shy of £35 for food and drink. I know I didn't have to spend, and what we had was quite tasty, but seriously £3.99 for a pack of bolied sweets?
- Haz Roos Review added: 2018.05.07★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I am appaulded I was served today by a girl in WHSmith and the total of what I bought was £6.89 ( meal deal 3.99 + fruitshoot and packet of crisps). Total the girl told me was 10.89 which sounded exaggerated and she manually input the amount on the card machine as I was paying by card . This girl clearly took advantage of the fact I was more focused on my son who was playing up and I just used contactless to quickly get done. She asked me if I want the receipt; normally I say no but I was suspicious of the total of 10.89, so I said yes, to my surprise total was 6.89; which even confused me further; I walked out still puzzled as to the amount I paid and later thought she never gave me the contactless receipt; will be waiting to see what comes out of my accout; even though it is only £4, this girl could be doing it to a lot of other customers and going unnoticed, so if it is the case; I will be taking it further as it is wrong.
