- Rachael Hylton Review added: 2018.04.28★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆I had a full weave install, the install was a centre part with 'silk closure' initially I was going to buy my hair myself but the owner had some she said was great quality ( I trusted her) I got two bundles and a 'silk closure' which she said would be good although I normally have 3 for just incase as I like my weave full but not high. I get there on time and was seated after about 15 minutes of waiting, I wasn't seated in the owners chair as she seemed to be doing another client at the time. She told this lady whom I'd never spoken to or seen before, to start me off and she immediately started to cornrow, she cornrowed my hair straight back and tied my hair up.
I should have stopped her there (she ended up doing my whole head) as I was having a closure and my hair line in the very centre is extremely straight, I normal have it cornrowed down to my ears, she then proceeded to put a wig cap.. A WIG CAP on top of my hair an sewed that down to. (I'm praying my edges still remain) I hate the things I usually have a net.
The hair is beautiful but even though I knew she would, she struggled to sew the closer down .. the lighting was sort of bad in the shop and I'm blind as hell so that didn't help when it came down to the parting, I obviously wanted a central parting and ask if I could get it a *LITTLE* plucked as I couldn't see I had one. I was only asking as the lighting was bad so the owner pluck some hairs out. I had a wig cap on which was jet BLACK, wasn't cut in the centre to expose my scalp, silk wasn't even bleached and was placed way too far back.
I'm so sad because the evening I had it done I was due to go out on the night which I sadly couldn't as the closure was too far back, too thick of a parting and my confidents had been knocked. My partner was so very honest and said my parting looked dreadful and I should go back. Even though I knew it after he'd said my heart sank... Hopefully it gets sorted as overall the shop is lovely, the women are too and the atmosphere is warm.
